Chairs and new beanbags and pillows in The Brooklyn Museum as part of 50 Years Since Roe: A Convening on Reproductive Justice.

I want all bodies to be healthy, safe and strong.

Bold, sexual and visceral: a set of four chairs. The fabric is an interior photograph of myself, in a repeating pattern, on velvet. The frames are vintage brass. This project combines my need for comfort and beauty with my ideas of strength, healing and pleasure.

I want my functional designs for the home to be provocative, embodied, and fierce.

Custom Interior Chairs

I offer chairs upholstered in custom fabric. The velvet is printed with your, or your loved one’s, Interior Portrait. The process will look something like this:

  • We start by getting to know each other a little, looking at vintage furniture online together.

  • I source vintage furniture and the client chooses the chair.

  • We have an Interiors photo session -click Ace Hotel for information and images of what an Interior Portrait session looks like.

  • I edit the video and curate photo choices.

  • The client chooses the final photo for the fabric.

  • I make the pattern and fabric to your approval.

  • A prototype is made.

  • The chair is upholstered by a master upholsterer.

  • The chair is delivered.
